Just 5 minutes south of Jaco beach driving south you will arrive at Hermosa beach a beach with waves only for experienced surfers with strong waves and perfect barrels on both sides. Playa Hermosa is not suitable for bathers. It was declared a world surfing reserve on June 12, 2022, is the first of its kind in Central America and the eleventh worldwide.
