Escondida Beach

when on, is a spectacular A-Frame that allows for short rights and longer lefts that drift when big. The waves break on a reef that produces only two peaks, so it can fill up quickly. When the swell is good, several boatloads of surfers can arrive quickly. However, it can only be accessed by boat or through Los Sueños Resort and that helps keep the crowds down a bit.

During low tide, the rocky platform juts out and can be a bit dangerous, so be careful. It is best during mid to high tide and basically no riding during low tide.
