Bejuco Beach

Playa Bejuco is a dark sandy beach approximately one or two miles east of East Esterillos. There is a river mouth at the east end that contributes to the formation of Bejuco’s sandbars, making it break hollower and harder than other beaches in the area. Due to its semi-longshore location, it is never crowded and produces large barrels.

Best with south/southwest swell during mid to high tide.

Note: No lifeguards and very strong currents.
